Foundational purpose

The courses of the Department of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) are especially designed for companies that wish to raise the quality of their middle and top level management human. Given that the greater area of Taichung constitutes a central community for trade, humanities and crafts in the Taiwan Central Region, in the last years due to the installation of the Science and Technology Park it has provided more impetus to a new wave in economic opportunity and development. The upgrade in human resources in the middle of this wave has become an issue of concern for all business owners. The recent increase in educational requirements from the part of working professionals, has already attracted many professional training educational institutions to establish a presence in the Central Region. Many institutions establish Master’s Degree courses for working professionals, and this school is no exception. This school has currently established an incubation center within the Science and Technology Park, actively seeking opportunities for cooperation between industry and education, implementing the objective of collaboration between industry and academia.

Under the trend of economic globalization, multinationals have an increasingly important role in the international arena. Currently foreign direct investment in national enterprises has become increasingly common. In order to grasp the complexity of the increasingly competitive global business environment, companies must integrate global resources to make the most appropriate management decisions. T this end, the field of international business management needs the foresight to cultivate talent in business management with capabilities for “international outlook” and “cross-border management capacity”. The students in our EMBA are the cornerstone of the industry in which they are active. To educate these rising stars in the industry to become talented managers with international perspective and competitive advantage, is currently the top priority and responsibility of each institution, and it is also the established goal of this course.
